Independence Day in Bethlehem

Press photos by Dana Grubb Bethlehem's Independence Day festivities continue at SteelStacks despite a late afternoon downpour and high humidity as thousands listen to patriotic tunes performed by the Allentown Band and later ooh and aah to the municipal fireworks display over the Lehigh River. It was the nation's 247th birthday celebration since the July 4, 1776 signing of the Declaration of Independence.
