SP earns LVL title

The South Parkland Lehigh Valley Legion baseball team completed the regular season with some positive momentum, winning three of its last four games in three consecutive days. The Trojans swept a doubleheader with Northern Valley last Wednesday, followed that up with a victory over Carbon Thursday and then fell to Lower Macungie on Friday.

South Parkland finished the regular season with a 12-3-1 overall record, winning the regular season title and qualifying for the regional tournament.

The Trojans earned one of the league’s two berths into the regional tournament. The LVL postseason champ will also advance to regionals. If South Parkland wins the postseason title, the second place team from the LVL tourney will move on to regionals along with the Trojans.
