Little League’s District 20 minors (10U) all-stars opened tournament play on June 24 with four teams looking for their first wins to maintain position in the winner’s bracket of the double elimination series.

Pennridge scored an 11-7 victory over Southern Lehigh, and Lehigh was a 34-0 winner over Northwest.

North Bethlehem drew a bye on June 24 but hosted Pennridge on June 30 and lost, 16-0.

Also on June 30, Lehigh topped Hellertown/Lower Saucon, 13-0.

On July 1, North Bethlehem and Northwest fought to stay alive in the tournament when they faced off at North Bethlehem, while Southern Lehigh and Hellertown/Lower Saucon battled at Hellertown.

North Bethlehem was a 21-6 winner over Northwest, and Southern Lehigh was a 8-2 winner over Hellertown/Lower Saucon.

Northwest and Hellertown/Lower Saucon were eliminated from the tournament, which continues this week.
