Wilmer D. McNabb, 92, of Allentown, died June 28, 2023, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall.
He was the husband of the late Janet V. (Stufflet) McNabb.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Mildred A. (Clader) McNabb.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Before retiring in 1991, he was a maintenance foreman for 38 years for Philadelphia Bethlehem New England Railroad.
Later, he was a bus driver for 18 years for First Student.
A founding member of Cetronia Ambulance Corps, he was an officer and life member of the Cetronia Fire Company.
He was a life member of Wescosville, Woodlawn and Greenawalds fire companies, as well as a member of the Kutztown Fire Company, the Kutztown Sportsmen Club, Heidelberg Fish and Game and the Travelers Protective Association.
His survivors include a son Terry A. and his wife, Maria, of Wescosville; sister Shirley M. of Macungie; granddaughters Kelly and her husband, John, and Jaclyn and her fiancé, Rick; great-grandchildren Braydon, Anthony John and Nadia.
He was predeceased by a son Keith James and a sister Lorraine Nicholson.
Services 11 a.m. on July 6 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. Calling begins 10 a.m.
