Marjorie C. Miller, 78, of North Catasauqua, died June 29, 2023, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife J. Frederick Miller for 55 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Anna Catharine (BenVenuti) Freund.

She was a 1962 Catasauqua High School graduate. She was the class valedictorian. She graduated magna cum laude in 1966 from Muhlenberg College where she majored in education and minored in Spanish.

She was a fifth-grade teacher for Whitehall- Coplay School District for two years. She was then a homebound instructor for one year.

She was involved with First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua; Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, Catasauqua; and Central Assembly of God, Bethlehem. She taught Sunday school, directed Vacation Bible School and served on the prayer chain.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Philip J. and his wife Jenny E. of North Catasauqua; a daughter-in-law, Erica J. Miller of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, John; and a son, Kurt.
