Press Photo by Jim Marsh Local first responders and Pennsylvania state troopers from across the Commonwealth paid a respectful tribute to a slain comrade who lost his life in the line of duty in Juniata County June 17. Trooper Jacques Rougeau Jr., 29, was killed by a gunman who was later killed by Pennsylvania State Police troopers who tracked him down after he attacked the PSP Lewistown Barracks. Rougeau was brought to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest campus June 19, where an autopsy was performed, as is the case with all first responder line of duty deaths in Pennsylvania.
