Hailey Lynn Cook, 17, of Macungie, died June 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of David and Mary (Klipple) Cook.

She was an outstanding student at Emmaus High School, Class of 2024 and was a talented member of their championship winning field hockey team.

She was a joy to be around with her witty sense of humor and her kindness toward others.

She loved hanging out with family and friends, traveling to many field hockey tournaments, watching SpongeBob and listening to music, particularly her beloved Harry Styles.

She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Casey; maternal grandmother, Carol Bortz and her husband, Gil, of Allentown; maternal grandfather, Leon Klipple, of Nazareth; paternal grandfather, George and his wife, Marlene, of Macungie. She was the niece of Jake Klipple and his wife, Lorie, of Macungie, Marie Bondi and her husband, Steve, of Bethlehem, Lori, of Emmaus. She is also survived by several cousins; many friends and her beloved dog, Otis. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Roberta.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. July 5 at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown. A visitation will be held before the service noon to 2 p.m.
