Eugene F. Kolowitz, 80, of Northampton, died June 27, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William and Emma (Sagl) Kolowitz.

He was a Central Catholic High School graduate.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a production line worker at Mack Trucks for more than 40 years.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 528, Allentown, and of the UAW. He bowled at the Hungarian Hall, Northampton, and at the St. Francis Club, Allentown.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Louise Kolowitz; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, William, Richard and Thomas.
