Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, is hosting a guided charcuterie workshop, set for 2-3 p.m. July 9 and led by Gather & Graze Charcuterie of Easton. Attendees will create a charcuterie board, sample fudge and receive a complimentary beverage.

Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church will hold its annual parish picnic July 9 at Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St., rain or shine. The public is invited.

Mass begins 11 a.m., and festivities will follow Mass through 6 p.m.

There will be games for children and adults, bingo and homemade foods such as pierogies, haluski, halupki and baked goods. Entertainment will be provided by Josef Kroboth noon-3 p.m. and Flirtin’ with the Mob 3:30-6 p.m.

Admission and parking are free.

Vacation Bible School will be held 6-8:30 p.m. July 10-14 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, for age 3 to those who completed sixth grade. This year’s theme is Stellar, Shine Jesus’ Light.

Bring folding chairs or a blanket to enjoy the Egypt VFW outdoor concerts at the pavilion. Uncle Smiley will perform 6:30 p.m. July 15, and Subject to Changes performs 7-10 p.m. July 29.

These are open to the public. There is a cover charge for nonmembers.

Learn how to do country line dancing 6-8 p.m. July 19 at Egypt Memorial Park. There is a cost.

Shepherd of the Hills is planning its annual picnic and worship service July 30 at Egypt Memorial Park. The service begins 10:15 a.m., and the picnic follows noon.

The church will provide hot dogs. Bring a salad, casserole or dessert to share.

Remember to bring chairs and a beverage.

Registration for Egypt Memorial Park’s fall 2023 field hockey season, for children in kindergarten through sixth grade, is open until July 21. Also, children ages 5-14 may register for the fall 2023 softball and baseball seasons through Aug. 6. There is a cost.

Two free open baseball and softball practices will take place Aug. 2 and 4 for children who would like to meet the coaches and players and try out the sport before deciding whether to register.
