Allen/East Allen townships: Breakfast planned for July 16

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will be hosting its monthly breakfast 8-11 a.m. July 16. It is open to the public.

There is a cost.

Reminder: Governor Wolf Historical Society will participate in Passport to History, set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 15 at 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township. Lehigh Valley Passport to History is a partnership of more than 50 historic sites and resources in and around Lehigh and Northampton counties.

The eighth annual Northampton Area School District Student Council car show, set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 29 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane, East Allen Township, welcomes all makes, models and years. Registration is 9 a.m.-noon.

The rain date is set for July 30.

Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society is holding extended tour days every Saturday and Sunday in July. Tours will be held 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. at Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement, 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

Additionally, the 295th anniversary festival will be held 1 p.m. Sept. 9, with a rain date of Sept. 10.

Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement is the oldest and longest permanent settlement of the Lehigh Valley.
