Morganelli Properties’ peculiar new location

In April, Morganelli Properties held an open house to celebrate its fifth anniversary and grand opening ribbon cutting at its new location on Linden Street across from Liberty HS. The building was most recently home to Nuts About Ice Cream and was the one time iconic Kostas Drug Store. Michael Edder of Patriot Contracting called the renovations a total rehab with numerous refrigeration systems having to be removed. He noted that a number of artifacts from the drugstore days had been uncovered, many of which have been incorporated into the décor including stools from the soda fountain counter. “This is history and we needed to keep it,” said partner John Morganelli Jr.

“We’re excited by our future, “ said Christopher Morganelli, with is a partner with his brother John broker Heather McFadden

Guests enjoyed refreshments, live music and a food truck’s offerings.
