Marjorie C. (Freund) Miller, 78, of North Catasauqua, June 29, 2023, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Anna Catharine (BenVenuti) Freund. She was the wife J. Frederick Miller for 56 years.

She was a 1962 Catasauqua High School graduate. She was the class valedictorian and a majorette. She accompanied the chorus. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1966 from Muhlenberg College where she majored in English and Spanish.

She was a fifth grade teacher for the Whitehall-Coplay School District for two years. She was then a home-bound instructor for one year.

She was involved with The First Presbyterian Church, Hokendauqua; Bethany Bible Fellowship Church of Catasauqua; and Central Assembly of God, Bethlehem. She taught Sunday school, directed Vacation Bible School and served on the prayer chain.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Philip J. and his wife Jenny E. of North Catasauqua; a daughter-in-law, Erica J. Miller of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, John; and a son, Kurt.
