Stephanie Gene Gates, of Emmaus, died June 19, 2023.

Born Oct. 21, 1967 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Robert Driver and Elizabeth Chatfield.

She graduated from Immaculata High School, N.J., in 1985 and attended Penn State University as a film major.

She recently celebrated her 31st anniversary at Aetna where she was an asset in any role she filled.

A lifelong car lover, she was especially proud of her 1981 diesel VW Rabbit.

Known for her kindness, humor and extensive knowledge of many topics including music, art, design, film and culture, she was socially conscious and donated to multiple causes close to her heart throughout her life.

Those who knew her will always remember her exceptional compassion.

Survivors include her mother, Elizabeth Driver; her brother, Christopher Driver; her devoted daughter, Alexandra; and many, many loving friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Robert Driver; her uncle, James Driver; and her grandfather, Dr. Minotte M. Chatfield.

Those who knew her will remember her relationships with both her uncle and grandfather as especially loving and close.
