Louis S. Burdick, 80, of Orefield, died June 18, 2023, in his home.
He and his wife, Mary E. (Pider) Burdick, were married 58 years.
Born June 26, 1942, in Kalamazoo, Mich., he was the son of the late Lawrence S. and Winifred L. (Burson) Burdick.
He was employed at SAP in tech support for 10 years before retiring in 2005.
Before that, he worked for Durkee Foods for 30 years, last working in the Bethlehem plant.
A member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, he served as consistory treasurer and member of the Funds of Lasting Gifts.
He was part of the Boy Scout Leadership for Troop 57, Neffs.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons Jeffrey S. Burdick (Neasa) of Elkins Park, Timothy L. Burdick (Katka) of Prague, Christopher E. Burdick (Elizabeth) of Alexandria, Va.; and grandchildren Anna, Louie, Julia, Oliver, Lili, Nora and Evan.
He was predeceased by a sister, Terry Lou.
A private service will be held at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc, Schnecksville.
There will be no public calling hours.
Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
