Francis Victor “Butchie” Gross III, 49, of Kutztown, died June 25, 2023, in Reading Hospital, West Reading.

Born Dec. 25, 1973, in Allentown, he was the son of Francis V. Gross Jr. and his companion, Carol E. Derr, of Allentown, and Edna R. (Weil) Gross of Allentown.

Employed at PA General Contractors LLC, Allentown, he primarily built decks and patios for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister Angel M. Lettko and her husband, Michael, of Northampton; nephew Kody; and niece Amy.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. June 30 at Jordan United Church of Christ, 1837 Church Road, South Whitehall, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-11 a.m. Friday in the church parlor.

Interment will follow the service in the adjacent church cemetery.
