Championship volleyball team receives special escort

Parkland High School’s Volleyball Team returned June 17 from University Park with the state championship trophy.

Greeted by fire apparatus in South Whitehall Township, the team’s bus was escorted to the high school where happy parents and supporters were waiting.

Fire apparatus from local fire departments within the Parkland School District escorted the champion volleyball team from Tilghman Street, South Whitehall, to the high school in celebration of the state championship win on June 17.
