LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Pates, ’Canes to play

The Lehigh Valley Summer League Basketball is heading toward the home stretch of the season, as it winds down on July 6. Freedom and Liberty are both battling to stay in the top 10 of the standings, as the Hurricanes split a pair of games last week, while Freedom grabbed a win in their only contest against Dieruff last Tuesday.

Both teams face a tough schedule this week, as Liberty took on Reading on Tuesday and Freedom battled Executive Charter.

On Thursday, both schools square off against each other at 8 p.m. at Whitehall High School.
