Paw Prints on the Canal

Converse, representing Outcast Rescue, receives love and belly rubs. Represented at the event, held at Canal Street Park in Northampton, were a number of dog rescue organizations, adoption programs and more than 100 vendors. Proceeds from the event benefit Northampton Borough Police Department's K-9 unit.
The winners of the event's Sharp Dressed Pet contest are Chris Ford and Oakley, third place; Sarah Van Dunk with Baio and Bowie, second place; and Deanna Cuchiaro with Duke and Annie, first place.
Executive Director Amy Kocis, her husband Steve and dog MoMo represent Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley, Emmaus.
Albrightsville resident Donna Fenstermaker and Captain hope to win in the Sharp Dressed Pet contest.
