The criminal investigation unit of Pennsylvania State Police-Troop M is investigating a June 25 shooting at the Waffle House on Airport Road in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

According to the report, troopers were dispatched approximately 3 a.m. to the 1783 Airport Road restaurant for the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, troopers provided medical care to a gunshot victim at the scene. The male victim was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

There were no other injuries reported, police said.

Troop M Forensic Service Unit and Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are also investigating.
