Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., announces its lineup for the Friday night concerts. Doors, bar and kitchen open 5 p.m., and bands perform 6-10 p.m.

The lineup includes Smith Compound Band June 30, American Street Band July 7, Phat Crizzy July 14, Sons of Izzy July 21 and Trick Stacey July 28.

The Wednesday night summer music series continues 6-9 p.m. at the borough’s Community Plaza, North Second and Chestnut streets.

Upcoming concerts include A Pair of Aardvarks July 5, Third Hand Trio July 19, Steve Brosky and Jimmy Meyers Aug. 16, The Castaways Aug. 30, Third Hand Trio Sept. 6 and The Jenni Hackett Duo Sept. 13.

The bands performing July 26 and Aug. 2 are still to be announced.

Coplay Community Days is less than two months away. Called the “best festival in the Lehigh Valley,” it features quality entertainment, great food and fun. The planning committee is expanding its kids activities over the event weekend.

The committee meets 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of every month in council chambers at the municipal building, 98 S. Fourth St. These meetings are open to the public.
