As more people rely on the American Red Cross for help, the need for compassionate volunteers has never been greater. The Disaster Workforce Engagement Team is responsible for welcoming new volunteers and providing relevant orientation information. Help ArtsQuest keep fun, kid-friendly movies accessible throughout the summer on Wednesdays at Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks in Bethlehem by assisting with set up and tear down and collecting donations. Do you have a passion for working with horses and people? Summer camp at Equi-librium in Nazareth will be held 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. the week of July 10-14 and Aug. 21-25. No experience necessary, we provide all the training. Please contact us to schedule a visit to the farm for a tour and to get your questions answered. Minimum age 14. The gardens at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth have several planter boxes in which residents will plant vegetables and flowers. We are looking for volunteers to assist residents in watering the plants each morning. Multiple opportunities exist, as we would ultimately like to have a volunteer for each day of the week. Choose your delivery area and pickup location in Lehigh, Northampton and southern Carbon County. Deliver on your own or with a friend, family member or co-worker. Are you a people person with organizational and computer skills? The Museum of Indian Culture, Allentown, is looking for a part-time volunteer to recruit, organize and schedule volunteers for various museum opportunities like lawn mowing, pulling weeds, yard and building maintenance, festivals, and special events. Want to help shelter animals without adopting them? Support The Center for Animal Health & Welfare by accepting or denying donations for our thrift store, Project Paw, in Easton.
