DEAN’s Lists

Bloomsburg University

Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg’s Spring 2023 dean’s list includes local residents Yolanda Aviles, Mitchell Becker, Kaitlin Borda, Julia Burcin, Irampaye Clarisse, Kimberly Daniels, Kelsey Diaz, Rebecca Docteroff, Yamilet Ferrufino, Marin Fleming, Tal-Reese Flemming, Joseph Green, Scripture House, Colleen Jetter, Kyla Korpics, Lawrence Maldonado, Hanna Nicholls, Serenity Rodriguez, Alexander Smith, Angel Velazquez, Madison Walther, Jillian Weierbach, Makenzi Williamson and Katrina Zellner, all from Bethlehem; and Elizabeth Lee from Fountain Hill. To qualify, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4.0) during the semester.

Commonwealth University-Lock Haven

Jennifer Boyle, Allison Harris and Mitchell Wood, all of Bethlehem, were named to the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven dean’s list for the Spring 2023 semester. The students had a scholastic average of 3.50 or higher in at least 12 semester hours of academic work to be included.

Commonwealth University-Mansfield

Kiara James, of Bethlehem, was named to Commonwealth University-Mansfield’s dean’s list for the Spring 2023 semester. To be named to the list, a student must attend the university full-time and earn a 3.5 GPA.

Hofstra University

Megan Forst of Bethlehem, a Bioengineering major, earned a place on the Hofstra University Spring 2023 semester dean’s list. with a GPA of at least 3.5.

James Madison University

Bethlehem area residents Lexie Burns, Media Arts and Design - BA major, and Lily Judge, Biology - BS major. were named to the James Madison University dean’s list for the spring 2023 semester. The students were listed for carrying at least 12 graded credit hours and earning a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

Lebanon Valley College

Bethlehem area residents Abriana Ferrari, Lauren Jancsarics and Jaime Youngkin, all of the Bethlehem area, were named to Lebanon Valley College’s spring 2023 semester dean’s list. To be included, students must maintain a GPA of 3.4 out of 4.0.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Eric Blazka, of Bethlehem, is included on the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute dean’s honor list for the Spring 2023 semester. She is a Civil Engineering undergraduate student who has completed 12 or more credit hours with a 3.5 grade-point average or better for that term.

Saint Francis University

Jarrod Treffinger, of Bethlehem, was named to the Saint Francis University dean’s list. The cybersecurity major had full-time status with a quality point average of 4.000 (President’s) or 3.500 (Dean’s) on 12 or more credits during a single semester, with no continuing or incomplete grades, to be included.

University of Alabama

Julia Hernandez was named to the University of Alabama Deans List for fall semester 2022 with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

The State University of New York at Potsdam

Zara Smith, of Bethlehem, was named recently to the President’s List for the Spring 2023 semester at The State University of New York at Potsdam. The Music Performance major was included for satisfactor completion of 12 numerically-graded semester hours with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Cedar Crest College

Cedar Crest College, Allentown, has named several area residents to the Spring 2023 semester dean’s list. The students who earned a grade-point average of 3.65 or higher, are Abdullah Albalawi, Ziyad Alsenaidi, Ali Fahad A. Balubaid, Makayla Batchelor, Adriana Dias, Elizabeth Fihlman, Rachel Folger-LaBelle, Keily Gaetan, Waleed Ghulam, Jenna Marmo, Kaitlyn Murphy, Samuel Oquendo Rosa, Kimberly Pierre-Fils, Carter Reichard, Brittany Schultz, Lillian Seiling, Kyah Smith and Halle Zrinski, all of the Bethlehem area.

Mississippi State University

Jonathan Favretto, of Bethlehem, was named to the Mississippi State University spring 2023 dean’s list for earning a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.

Grove City College

Bethlehem area residents Grace Burns and Julia Kammetler were named to the Grove City College dean’s list for the spring 2023 semester. They earned either a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59 for the dean’s list; with Distinction: a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84; and for the dean’s list with High Distinction: a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.
