Gaetana “Gloria” Mitchell, 101, died June 11, 2023, at Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, Allentown. She was the wife of the late William Henderson Mitchell Sr. for 45 years.

She was a daughter of the late Carmelo and Anna (Geraci) Crisafulli.

She was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

She was a volunteer and helped various military groups.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane Deaver and husband Stewart of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Maria Kohler Mitchell of Whitehall.

She was predeceased by a son, William Henderson Mitchell Jr.
