Catasauqua: Church block party set for June 22-24
St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., will hold its annual block party 6-10 p.m. June 22-24. This event offers games for adults and children. Bingo will be held in the air-conditioned hall every night unless there’s rain.
Homemade food includes cabbage and noodles, halupki, turkey barbecue, pierogies and more. There will also be a bake sale and basket raffle.
Music and entertainment will be provided by D.H. Productions.
Parking is available on Race Street, at the bottom of Second Street, with safe crossing provided by Catasauqua Fire Police.

The Friends of the Public Library of Catasauqua and Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association are hosting a summer pop-up shop and tea party noon-4 p.m. June 25 in the community room at the library, 302 Bridge St. Come and shop for handmade arts and crafts from local vendors and enjoy a light lunch, which includes soup, tea sandwiches, sweets and beverages.
Reservations for the lunch are recommended at a discounted price, but you can also buy a lunch at the door. There is no charge to browse and shop.

Catty Seniors Plus will hold its next meeting June 28 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. The doors will open noon, and the meeting will begin 1 p.m.
This month’s speaker, Brian Graveno, will talk about downsizing and what your collectibles are really worth.
After the speaker, cake and coffee will be served, followed by the playing of bingo.
