Allen/East Allen townships: Annual car show set for July 29

The eighth annual Northampton Area School District Student Council car show welcomes all makes, models and years.

Enter your cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique tractors in this event, set for July 29, at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane.

Registration is set for 9 a.m.-noon, and the event will continue until 3 p.m.

July 30 is the set rain date.

Reminder: Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will hold its next breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 16. It is open to the public.

There is a cost for adults.

Plan ahead! The 295th anniversary festival of Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement hosted by Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society is 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township.

Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement is the oldest and longest permanent settlement of the Lehigh Valley. Visit the grave site of Jane Horner, the first woman killed by Native Americans in Northampton County.
