Gerald Foran III, 45, died June 14, 2023, at home. He was born in Meadville, he was a son of Gerald Foran Jr. and Dee Dee Foran of Easton. He was the husband of Laura Egan Foran

He was a 1994 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic HS where he played varsity football. He was a 1998 graduate of Lycoming College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and where he played football, also.

He was a scientist at Sanofi Pasteur until November 2021 when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Mentored at Willow Park Pools, Bethlehem, he was the founder, builder and owner of Gerry’s Pool Repair.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Emma and Gavin Nelson of Kutztown; Bonnie Marczak of McKees Rocks; two sisters, Carey Foran Hoch of Lincoln, Mass. and Amber Campbell (Cory) of Riegelsville; in-laws Tony and Phil Egan of Easton; two brothers-in-law, Patrick Egan of Cleveland, Ohio and Michael Egan (Jennifer) of Bridgeport; five nephews; one niece; aunts; uncles; and 30 cousins.
