Thomas S. Gillette, 70, of Schnecksville, died June 5, 2023, after a long illness.

He will be sorely missed by his beloved wife of almost 43 years, Joanne J. (Schneck) Gillette.

Born July 24, 1952, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Thomas and Pauline Mae (Burkhardt) Gillette.

He worked for many years at Cross Country Clothes, Northampton, and then at D’Andrea, Allentown.

A member of Living Hope Presbyterian Church, he served as a deacon and treasurer.

His survivors include children Jonathan (Matt B.), Amanda Lawrence (Christopher), Matthew (Lindsay) and their daughter, Emma; his sister Shirley Gillette; and brothers Bruce, Stephen and Michael; many in-laws; and nieces and nephews.

The extended Gillette, Schneck and church families will greatly miss him.

He was predeceased by brothers Jeffrey and Brian Gillette.

A celebration of his life will take place 2 p.m. June 19 at The Vine Church, 5229 Route 873, Schnecksville, with Pastor Tony Phelps officiating.
