Erma I. Rothenberger, 90, formerly of Allentown, died June 8, 2023, in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown, where she had been residing.

Born Oct. 21, 1932, in Lynn Township, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Mabel E. (Frey) Schaller.

She was an assembly technician at Lucent Technologies, Allentown, for 30 years before retiring in 1998.

She was a member of New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.

Her survivors include a daughter Marielle J. Morgan and her companion, Peter G. Beaulieu, of Longmeadow, Mass.; siblings Esther S. Kelley of Allentown, Viola R. Bartholomew of Allentown, Arlan P. Schaller of Delaware, and Kermit W. Schaller of Colorado; grandchildren Jacqueline, Ryan, Daniel and Emma; great-grandchildren Andreas and Camile; step-grandson James; step-great-grandchildren Harrison and Robin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings Hattie E. Smith, Mildred M. Anthony, Gladys I., Ernest J., Luther J., Willis J. and Melvin Schaller.

A private graveside service will take place at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, New Tripoli. There will be no calling hours.
