Join Whitehall Township Public Library’s adult book club - On the Same Page. This club will meet 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of every other month. Books will be loaned as availability allows.

The reading schedule includes the following books: “Under the Whispering Door,” June 15; “Black Cake,” Aug. 17; “Home Before Dark,” Oct. 19; and “Firekeeper’s Daughter,” Nov. 16.

The summer reading program - All Together Now - continues through Aug. 5. Join the library for events, reading challenge incentives and prizes.

The library will host book discussions for Whitehall-Coplay School District middle and high school students based on their school summer reading requirements. For each grade, we will discuss one book, broken up into two sessions.

Events and programs include making friendship bracelets for teens 1 p.m. June 20, doing floor puzzles for toddlers through fifth grade 1 p.m. June 21, making paper airplanes and exploring aerodynamics for third through sixth grades 6 p.m. June 21, building Legos 11 a.m. June 22, cookie taste testing 1 p.m. June 27 and therapy dog reading time 11 a.m. June 29.

Participants must register for the teen friendship bracelets, the airplane event and the cookie taste testing.

Additionally, Lehigh County Conservation District will host a program on protecting against ticks and mosquitoes 3 p.m. June 29.

Donate new toys or kits to be used as reading incentive prizes during the summer reading program.

A Good Yarn is the newest club at the library. Whether you work with hooks or needles, yard or thread, you’re welcome to join.

The club will meet 2-4 p.m. the first and third Thursdays of each month.

June’s museum pass spotlight is Bucks County Children’s Museum, 500 Union Square Drive, New Hope. Exhibits are designed for young children from 12 months and walking to 7 years of age who enjoy pretend play.

Museum passes are free with your LCLC library card. The pass allows two adults and four children into the museum. Passes must be checked out and returned to the library circulation desk.
