The Whitehall High School Classes of 1959, 1960 and 1961 are planning a combined summer social, set for noon-6 p.m. June 24 at Egypt Memorial Park.

There is a small cost per person for registration to help cover expenses.

Food will be catered by Samuel Owens Restaurant and Bar. Drinks (soda, water and coffee) will be available. No alcohol will be served or allowed.

The committee is asking classmates who like to bake to donate desserts.

It is a time to relive and reconnect with classmates who we may not have seen or talked to in a long time and remember things we may not have thought about for quite awhile.

The Class of 1959 was the last class to graduate from the high school on Lehigh Street in Hokendauqua. The classes of 1960 and 1961 were the first classes to graduate from the new school on Mechanicsville Road.
