Northampton: Food bank plans June 15 distribution
Correction: Distribution dates and times for the Northampton Area Food Bank, 1601 Canal St., for the remainder of June are 5-7 p.m. June 15 and 9-11:30 a.m. June 17. Apologies for any inconvenience.
If you need to register, bring a photo ID with your current address or photo ID and a utility bill or a lease with the correct address on it. You should reside in Northampton, although there are some exceptions. You will also need the names of everyone living with you full time.
Registration can be done 9-11:30 a.m. Wednesdays.

The Siegfried Railroad Station Museum will be open to visitors 1-4 p.m. June 18.
The station is open on the third Sunday of each month from May to October. The station is located on West 21st Street in Northampton.
The museum houses artifacts of Northampton and the surrounding area. There are permanent exhibits and special exhibits as well.
This year, four scrapbooks with pictures of men and women who served in World War II are available to be perused. These pictures were taken from local newspapers that printed the pictures during the war. There is also an exhibit of the Haff Hospital.
There is no cost to visit the museum.

Northampton Fire Department Station 42 is hosting a youth summer camp July 10-14.
Designed for young men and women ages 12-15 years of age, there will be scheduled events throughout each day that will include learning what a firefighter really does, hands-on training, team building and more.
The camp, open to borough residents only, will run 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. each day with a graduation ceremony July 15. There is a fee.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2023-24 school year.
The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children, who do not need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for this class.
Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
