McDonald’s All-Star game set for Thursday

The 52nd annual McDonald’s Lehigh Valley All-Star Football Classic will take place this Thursday night at 7:30pm back at Nazareth’s Andrew Leh Stadium.

This year’s Red Squad will represent Lehigh, Carbon and Monroe Counties and is coached by Jim McCarroll of Pocono Mountain West. The Gold Squad is made up of players from Northampton County, Phillipsburg, Palisades and is led by Bangor’s Paul Reduzzi.

New York Jets tight end Kenny Yeboah is the honorary captain and will join both teams on the field for the pre-game coin toss. Yeboah is a 2016 Parkland graduate and went on to play three years at Temple before transferring to Ole Miss his senior season.

This year’s local contingent of Bethlehem players includes Alexie Sangster (Freedom, DB); Izzy Ramos-Dobbins (Bethlehem Catholic, LB); Siddiq Small (Liberty, DB); Rahmel Terry (Bethlehem Catholic, RB ; Will Aviles (Bethlehem Catholic, WR); Troy Miller (BethLehem Catholic, DB); John Roeder (Freedom, LB); Jai Griffin (Liberty, DL) and Nicco Spezza (Bethlehem Catholic, OL).
