Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting its first community yard sale, set for 8 a.m.-3 p.m. June 24. The rain date is June 25.

Save the date to join friends and neighbors of Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, for a refreshing, informative and heartfelt evening with an experienced veteran and his dog-in-training, set for 6:30 p.m. June 20 in Kuntz Hall.

Hope Lutheran Church’s Vacation Bible School program is scheduled for July 10-14. Classes are 9 a.m.-noon, with a closing program set for 7 p.m. July 14.

The theme is Totally Submerged. Come dive into the Bible with the Gilligan crew on the adventure of a lifetime. Participants will be exploring the wet and wild stories from the ocean floor.

VBS is open to children ages 3 to youths completing sixth grade in June. Children must be potty trained.
