Helen T. Konapelsky, 95, died June 7, 2023. She was the wife of the late John S. Konapelsky for 59 years.

She was a daughter of the late Jan and Aniela (Domek) Panek.

She was active with her church in the choir, at church festivals and by making pierogies. She was a member of the Our Lady of Fatima Sodality.

She is survived by three children, John M. and wife Soledad of Miami, Fla., Richard S. and wife Leigh Ann of Columbia, Md., and Janet Kucharczuk and husband Thomas of Whitehall; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Joseph Panek.

There will be a viewing 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, both June 16.
