Ernest “Skip” R. Stoudt, 73, of Emmaus, died March 15, 2023, in his home in Bradenton, Fla. He was the husband of Kathleen (Roesch) Stoudt. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ernest M. and Anna L. (Schware) Stoudt.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1967 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Millersville State, graduating summa cum laude.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War in the 328th Radio Research Company and was awarded the Bronze Star.

He taught industrial arts in the Allentown School district until retiring.

He was a member of the Catholic War Vets, VFW, Emmaus Fire Co. #1 and a longtime member of the Tall Maples Hunting Lodge.

He is survived by his wife; brother, David and his wife, Rebecca; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. June 23 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus. A visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. June 23 in the church.
