Alma P. Deibert, 99, of Allentown, died June 6, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William F. Deibert Jr., to whom she was married for 73 years before his passing in December 2020. Born in Flint, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Leland S. and Esther L. (Abel) Prior.

She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, where she continued to faithfully attend Sunday worship via Zoom.

She was a life member of the Auxiliary of Lehigh Valley Hospital and enjoyed Friendly Fridays with Friends. In previous years, she and her late husband traveled yearly to Arizona.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Lee and her husband, Chris Frederiksen, of Allentown, Judith Rae and her husband, James Gaumer, of Trexlertown, Pamela Ann and her husband, Michael Borowski, of Allentown; six grandchildren, Amy, Kelly, James, Michael, Emily, Kelly Lee; four great-grandchildren; beloved animal companion, Lucy; sister-in-law, Ann Prior, of Sun City, Ariz. She was predeceased by her brother, Ray James.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the church or a charity of one’s choice.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. June 14 at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus, 18049.
