LVHN -names two presidents
Bob Begliomini, PharmD, MBA, was named president of the Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest campus and the Lehigh Region of Lehigh Valley Health Network including of LVH–Cedar Crest, LVH–17 Street, LVHN–Tilghman and LVHN–1503 North Cedar Crest campuses.
He was president of LVH–Muhlenberg for the past five years during which the Family Health Pavilion opened. The facility, which celebrated the 60 anniversary recently, includes the Family Birth and Newborn Center, a Level II NICU and Inpatient Rehabilitation Center. The hospital earned accreditation as a Level II Trauma Center.
He joined LVHN in 2001 as Administrator of Pharmacy Services for 13 years. In 2014, he was named Vice President of Operations at LVH–Muhlenberg and in 2018 as hospital president and senior vice-president of operations.
He earned a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at The University of the Sciences, Philadelphia and a Master of Business Administration degree at DeSales University. He completed a fellowship at the Health Management Academy.
Jim Miller, CRNA, MBA, was named president of the LVH–Muhlenberg campus and the Northampton Region, LVH–Muhlenberg, LVH–Hecktown Oaks and LVHN–Highland Avenue campuses. He joined LVHN in 2002 as a cardiac nurse anesthetist, became director of Lehigh Valley Anesthesia Services in 2005, vice-president of Operations and Perioperative Services and named president of LVH–Hecktown Oaks. He was chief operating officer of LVH–Cedar Crest.
He is senior vice-president of Lehigh Valley Institute for Surgical Excellence. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Holy Family University, Philadelphia;a Master of Science degree from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master of Business Administration degree from DeSales University.
