Founding members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell (along with former band mate, the late Dan Peek) met in high school in London in the late 1960s. Their hits include “A Horse With No Name,” the group’s first No. 1 single. Christopher Cross, Justin Hayward, 7 p.m. June 13, State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton. Christopher Cross burst onto the music scene with his 1980 self-titled debut album, winning five Grammy Awards, including, for the first time in Grammy history, the “Big Four” most prestigious awards: Record of the Year (for the single “Sailing”), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (also, “Sailing”), and Best New Artist. Justin Hayward has chalked up more than 50 years in the music and entertainment business, Hayward is vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for the Moody Blues.
