Shirley M. Marsh, 92, formerly of Allentown, died May 30, 2023, in the home of her loving daughter and son-in-law.

She was the wife of the late Robert K. Marsh who died in 2015.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Stanley A. and Ida M. (Reidy) Roth.

A 1948 graduate of Allentown High School, she was a bookkeeper for the Allentown School District more than 30 years before retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall, where she served as a greeter.

She and her husband enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, spending time at their cabin at Lake Wallenpaupack and traveling across the country.

She especially loved spending time with her family.

Her survivors include a daughter, Karen M. and her husband, Frank “Tim” Alexa, of North Whitehall Township; grandsons Ryan Alexa, and Jared Alexa and his wife, Crystal; and great-grandchildren Nathan, Lincoln and Brooklyn.

She was predeceased by her sister Margaret A. Kuster in December 2022.
