Shirley A. Blose, 80, of Palmerton, formerly of New Tripoli, died May 23, 2023, in Scenic View Personal Care Home, Palmerton.

She was the widow of David S. Blose Sr., who died in February.

Born in Little Gap, she was a daughter of the late Milton F. and Jennie (Waylen) Miller.

She was a certified nursing assistant for Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall, for many years until retiring in 2002.

She was a member of New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.

Her survivors include a daughter Sheri Lynne (Richard) Roth of Germansville; grandchildren Evan Roth of Cumbola, and Stevie Lynne (Michael) Rodriguez of Cropseyville, N.Y.; great-grandchild Roman Rodriguez; and sister Marian C. Zellner of Lehigh Furnace.

She was predeceased by her son David S. Blose Jr., and siblings David Miller, Dorothy Borger, Dolly Miller, Grace Miller and Eva Snyder.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life luncheon at 11 a.m. June 17 in Jacob’s Church social hall, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.
