Sandra E. Golden, 77, of Alburtis, died May 29, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born June 23, 1945, in Red Lion, York County she was the daughter of the late Charles L. Markey and Virginia I. (Hilt) Markey Grove.

She was an administrative assistant at Lehigh Valley Health Network in the materials management department more than 10 years before retiring.

Before that, she worked at the former Hess’s and Greif Companies in the customer service departments.

She attended both Cedar Union Church, South Whitehall, and Solomon’s Union United Church of Christ, Macungie.

Her survivors include children Lori E. Lentz and her husband, Troy, of Allentown, Steven G. Golden and his wife, Stacy, of Allentown; longtime companion of Ronald A. Bogert, with whom she resided; brother Michael D. Markey and his wife, Michelle, of Red Lion; and grandsons Kyle, Jacob, Zachary and Trevor.

She was predeceased by daughter, Michelle Getz; and sisters Brenda Steffe and Virginia Smith.
