ArtsQuest showcases expansion

ArtsQuest has announced the completion of the first phase of its ambitious Re-Imagine That! capital campaign at its grand re-opening event, held May 22, where they officially unveiled the renovated first floor of the ArtsQuest Center.

The revamped first floor boasts a spacious and modern layout, featuring the Palette & Pour Restaurant, a dining establishment with a full-service bar and seating for up to 118 guests. Additionally, the Williams-Brew stage, designed for open mic nights and smaller-scale entertainment, provides a platform for emerging talent. The floor is also adorned with comfortable lounge-style seating, creating a welcoming ambiance for visitors.

The first floor encompasses various noteworthy spaces. These include The Gregg and Cindy Feinberg Welcome Center, paying homage to Boyle Construction, as well as Anne and Brad Baum’s ‘Baums Corner’. The Mike and Ike Box Office and an area dedicated to the Yee Family, which is currently under development, are among the other notable additions.

The capital campaign comprises four pillars, with the renovation of the first floor being the inaugural milestone. The second pillar entails the construction of the state-of-the-art ArtsQuest Cultural Center, set to replace the existing Banana Factory. Spanning an impressive 74,000 square feet, this cutting-edge facility will become a vibrant western gateway to the Southside Arts District. It will offer expanded initiatives for all age groups, double the number of students it serves, and foster economic development and tourism.
