Summer activities will take place daily June 12-July 21 at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St. Nerf baseball, basketball league and basketball pickup games will be some of the activities offered.

The program is free, and no registration is required. This is not a program affiliated with Catasauqua Area School District.

CASD Board of Education will meet 7 p.m. June 13 in the board room at 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua.

Sheckler is seeking a full-time secretary for a 12-month position, beginning Aug. 1. The secretary will be responsible for day-to-day operations within the school’s office. The position’s schedule will run 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays with a 30-minute paid lunch.

A summer reading camp from Camp BOOK IT! is now open for enrollment for children in grades pre-K to sixth or ages 4-12. This free camp, which runs June-August, will help students reach reading goals.
