Michele M. McLain, 65, of Coplay, formerly of Bayonne, N.J., died May 30, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of Ronnie W. McLain for 19 years.

Born in Bayonne, she was the daughter of Patricia H. (Kackos) Pielech of Honesdale and the late Edward P. Pielech.

She was a secretary for KidsPeace, Schnecksville. Before that, she was a creative coordinator at Al Richard Chocolates, Bayonne, for 28 years.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. Bissel of Carbondale; a son, Stephen J. Bissel of Bayonne; three grandchildren, Taylor, Jakub and Ryker; a sister, Janine L. Pielech with Mark Giganti of Bayonne, and her children, Christopher and Madelyn; and a brother, Wayne E. Pielech with Jodi Hill of Toms River, N.J., and his children Nicole and Michael.

A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
