James “Jimmy” Wunder, 66, of Quakertown, died May 12, 2023, in Sarasota, Fla.

He was a son of Ruth and James F. Wunder Sr.

He was an Upper Perkiomen High School graduate.

He was a bartender at the King George Inn and assisted in the opening of H.A. Winstons. He was a wedding director for the Palace Gardens, Whitehall. He was the director of admissions at Allentown Business School. He worked in college admissions for various institutes in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut. He also started a business - WunderClean.

He volunteered at The Sanctuary at Haafsville, Fogelsville.

He is survived by three children, Brandon, Ashley and Joshua; two sisters, Mary Bauman with Roy and Renae Martin with Bill; two grandchildren, Elijah and Silas; cousins; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life and sharing of memories 10 a.m.-noon June 17 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall.
