Dennis “Dan” C. Frantz, 70, of Allentown, died June 1, 2023, in his home. He was the husband of Bonnie D. (Hess) Frantz for 27 years. Raised in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Charles Sr. and Shirley (Shafer) Frantz.

He worked at David and Wayne Auto Service, Bethlehem, for 35 years and retired in 2013.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kelly of Slatington; a daughter, Nicole and husband Jonathan Souders of Northampton; five brothers, Robert and wife Lisa Frantz, Charles Frantz Jr., Dale and wife Terri Frantz and Gary Frantz and wife Roxanne, all of Northampton, and George Frantz of Philadelphia; two sisters, Peggy Frantz of West Virginia and Linda Geissinger of Whitehall; a nephew, Kevin Hess of Allentown; and three grandchildren, Kyle, Hailey and Aiden.

There will be a calling hour 3-4 p.m., followed by a memorial service 4 p.m., June 12 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
