The end of the school year means the start of the daily summer activity schedule at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

The summer program runs June 12-July 21.

Nerf baseball will be held 9:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the three dips baseball field for grades 1-8.

League basketball games are planned for 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for grades 1-8.

Basketball pickup games will be 1-3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for ninth-graders and older.

There will be no Nerf baseball or basketball June 26-30.

These events are free of charge, and no registration is required.

Students in grades 4-9 can register for Lehigh Career and Technical Institute’s Camp LCTI, planned 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. June 20-23. Campers will have tons of fun with science, technology, engineering, arts, math and career exploration.

Registration is only $100 for CASD students. This is a $150 discount!
