Allan D. Hunger, 75, of Emmaus, died June 1, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Donna M. (Heimbach) Hunger for 53 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Carl and Doris (Hunsicker) Hunger.
He was a 1966 graduate of Emmaus High School and enlisted in the Marine Corps. He honorably served two tours of duty in the Marine Corps in Vietnam, where he was awarded two Purple Heart medals.
He worked for Superior Combustion, Mack Trucks and Akrion Technologies, retiring in 2008.
He was a member of the Marine Corps League, Macungie VFW and loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Hemlock Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife; brothers, Barry and Eric; brothers-in-law, Larry Heimbach, Frank Bradford, Michael Cerulli; nieces and nephews, Greg Bradford and family; Gino Cerulli and family, Rikki Savidge and family; Kaitlyn Kanusky and family; Dustin; Theo, his current emotional support dog. He was predeceased by a sister, Cynthia Cerulli.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
