Whitehall Township Public Library: Indoor yard sale is June 2, 3

Whitehall Township Public Library is planning to hold an indoor yard sale 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 2 and 3.

There is a bag sale set for noon-3 p.m. June 3.

The summer reading program - All Together Now - will begin with a kickoff event June 10, starting 1 p.m.

Join Hawk Mountain staff as they present birds of prey - with three live raptors. This program is for all ages.

The reading program runs June 5-Aug. 5. Join the library for events, reading challenge incentives and prizes.

Donate new toys or kits to be used as reading incentive prizes for toddlers to teens during the summer reading program.

Join the library for Sticker Palooza, scheduled for 1 p.m. June 13.

Each attendee will get a book and can choose from a vast collection of stickers. Create a scene with your stickers, or just fill your book.

The event is recommended for toddlers to teens.

Registration is required.

There is a Flag Day craft planned for 11 a.m. June 14 for toddlers to second grade. The third- to fifth-grade craft starts 1:30 p.m. Registration is required.

Don’t miss out on rock painting for youths in grades 1-12, planned for 1 p.m. June 15. Registration is required.

Join the library’s adult book club - On the Same Page. This club will meet 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of every other month. Books will be loaned as availability allows.

The reading schedule includes the following books: “Under the Whispering Door,” June 15; “Black Cake,” Aug. 17; “Home Before Dark,” Oct. 19; and “Firekeeper’s Daughter,” Nov. 16.

Registration is required.

The library will host book discussions for Whitehall-Coplay School District middle and high school students based off their school summer reading requirements.

For each grade, we will discuss one book, broken up into two sessions.

A Good Yarn is the newest club at the library. Whether you work with hooks or needles, yard or thread, you’re welcome to join.

The club will meet 2-4 p.m. the first and third Thursdays of each month.

June’s museum pass spotlight is Bucks County Children’s Museum, 500 Union Square Drive, New Hope.

Exhibits are designed for young children from 12 months and walking to 7 years of age who enjoy pretend play.

Museum passes are free with your LCLC library card. The pass allows two adults and four children into the museum. Passes must be checked out and returned to the Whitehall library circulation desk.

The library is open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
