Roughies Report: CHS’ Dries, Heil win Freddy Awards
Congratulations to Catasauqua High School students Angelina Dries and Aidan Heil for receiving a 2023 Freddy Award for Outstanding Small Ensemble Performance during the school’s production of “Pippin!” for the song “On the Right Track.”
Also, congratulations to Dries for her 2023 Freddy Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role and on receiving the Mowad Turf Specialists LLC Cash Award.

There are a limited number of 2022-23 CHS yearbooks available for sale in Mr. Wismer’s room, C225. Yearbooks will sell for $54 cash and will be sold during Rough Rider periods only on a first-come, first-served basis.

CHS graduation is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 3 in the CHS gymnasium. Congratulations to all the seniors!

CHS fall sports physicals are scheduled for June 5 in the gymnasium.

The last day of school for CHS underclassmen is June 7. CHS students will dismiss 11:20 a.m. June 5-7.
The last day of school for Lehigh Career andTechnical Institute students and teachers is June 9.

If awarded the Promise Scholarship program for Lehigh Career and Technical Institute seniors, the fall 2023 scholarship recipients will be notified by June 15.
Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funding set aside for students slated to register in fall 2023 is exhausted.
The scholarship covers up to full-time tuition and fees, less federal Pell Grant funding, plus a $500 per semester books and supplies allowance for federal Pell Grant recipients.
Scholarships cover fall and spring semesters only; summer or winter terms are not funded.
